Frequently Asked Questions

Because our programs are licensed by The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), they follow a 1 staff to 13 child ratio, with limited licensed capacities at each school.

Eight of our programs are located within the Plymouth Public Schools elementary schools. Typically, our licensed areas within the school are cafeterias, gyms, and outside spaces.

EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) licenses or approves group, school age, and family child care programs; family child care assistants; residential programs for children; and adoption/foster care placement agencies. To maintain an Massachusetts EEC license, our programs go through regular monitoring and licensing visits that check to ensure we are consistently meeting regulations.

If your child is regularly enrolled in Wednesday afternoons, then half day care is provided from dismissal (1:05 PM) to 6:00 PM at no additional cost.Vacation week programming is offered as a separate registration at Camp Clark (200 Hedges Pond Road).

Our programs accept child care vouchers.  Financial assistance may be available for qualifying families.  Space is limited for all enrollments, including vouchers and financial aid. Please contact our OST team for our separate financial aid application.

While children are more than welcome to bring their own breakfast or snack to the program, the Y provides a healthy breakfast and snack option daily during program hours for those enrolled at no additional cost.

Families have the flexibility to register for a weekly schedule based on their needs with no minimum amount of morning or afternoon enrollment.  A two week notice is required to change your child’s weekly schedule, and is dependent on availability in the program.

On their enrolled days, families can drop off or pick up
their child anytime between the 7:00-8:50am or
dismissal-6:00pm timeframe.
