For your development
For healthy living
For social responsibility
We offer programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. It’s a given that our programs are affordable, convenient, safe and fun but we want you to know that we strive to be much more than what you expect from a childcare provider.
Old Colony YMCA is dedicated to the belief that supporting positive youth development and strengthening families will in turn strengthen our community. We strive to create environments where young people can learn and grow, and in actuality enhance the learning day through positive relationships with Y staff and structured enriching curriculum that supports social and emotional development. We want youth to thrive - to be innovative, creative, to try new things, to laugh, play and make new friends, and to build lasting relationships with caring adult role models at the Y. At the Old Colony Y, we do not simply deliver services. We work alongside children, families, and communities to fuse key elements of youth development with fun, engaging, educational programs.
Following state and local safety guidelines, Ys across the country offer quality full-day and partial-day early learning opportunities and child care for infants through preschoolers, enabling parents and family members to go to work knowing their children are in safe, stimulating environments.
While the school year may look different than before, the Y’s out-of-school time and afterschool programs continue to be a familiar place where children can be safe, active, learning and engaged during their time out of school.
We believe that the camp experience is transformational. YMCA camp gives kids the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and interact with nature.
Use our facility while we watch your little ones. KidZone is included with Family memberships at no charge. Let your child socialize and have fun being a kid in a safe and healthy environment.
As a youth-serving organization that reaches millions of children and teens, the Y’s most important work is creating safe environments for young people. That any child or teen would experience harm in our care is unacceptable. Ensuring the safety and well-being of young people is foundational to everything we do at the Y to help them learn, grow and thrive.
