Easton, MA - The Old Colony YMCA is pleased to announce the resounding success of the Easton Summer Soiree, held on Thursday, June 22nd, at Langwater Farm. The event brought together 180 community members and raised an impressive $72,000 in support of the YMCA's programs and initiatives.

The evening was truly delightful, filled with joy, community spirit, and a shared commitment to creating positive change. Attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner, engaging conversations, and the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause. The event featured guest speakers, including Charles Clifford, President and CEO of Old Colony Y, and Ian Hobkirk, Chair of the Board of Governors for the Easton Y, who both shared inspiring insights into the Y’s mission and impact.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2023 Community Impact Award to the Easton Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious recognition acknowledges the Chamber's invaluable support to local businesses and nonprofit agencies during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic. Their unwavering dedication and partnership have played a crucial role in making Easton a thriving and resilient community for everyone.

Old Colony YMCA would like to express heartfelt appreciation to the Easton Garden Club, Starlight Photography, Shoveltown Brewery, Pairings LLC, Tastings, Rob Peters Entertainment, Anthony Defeo- Gelman, Niko Malinowski, and Gabe Meacham from the Musical Trio for their invaluable contributions to the event.
