Quitting vaping or tobacco use isn’t easy—but it’s easier with the right help. The American Lung Association’s N-O-T Not On Tobacco® program gives you options, resources and support to quit for good! N-O-T is a quit vaping and tobacco use program for teens. It helps you develop a plan that guides you on your quit journey. You’ll also get the support you need to remain vape-free and tobacco-free for life!

    N-O-T is taught and facilitated by Old Colony YMCA staff who have been trained by the American Lung Association.

    N-O-T is offered to small groups of 6-10 teens through a series of ten 50-minute sessions that can be conducted at Old Colony YMCA - Easton Branch.

    During these sessions, students are encouraged to participate in group discussions, hands-on activities and journaling — all key to helping them build the lifelong skills needed to quit vaping and tobacco for good.

    Student participation in N-O-T is completely voluntary, and the program emphasizes positive reinforcement over punishment and scare tactics
