Each spring, Old Colony YMCA awards more than $25,000 in scholarships to students among the 31 cities and towns it serves.  These scholarship awards provide financial support to motivated students wishing to pursue a college degree.

Interested students must use the online Scholarship Application Form and fill out the written essay to apply.  Students will only fill out a single form and based on responses, will be considered for any/all scholarships below. Application Deadlines for 2024: Sunday, April 21, 2024

SCHOLARSHIPS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduating student from Brockton High School 
  • YMCA Affiliation - Old Colony YMCA member, volunteer or employee 
  • Record of academic achievement in high school
  • Applicant must demonstrate an active interest in physical fitness, extra-curricular activities and volunteer service to the community
  • Graduating student from Brockton High School, Cardinal Spellman High School,  Oliver Ames High School or Southeastern Vocational Technical High School
  • YMCA Affiliation - Old Colony YMCA member, volunteer or employee 
  • Record of academic achievement in high school
  • Applicant must demonstrate an active interest in physical fitness, extra-curricular activities and volunteer service to the community
  • Graduating high school student (in Old Colony YMCA service area) or current college student who meets one of the following criteria:
  • Employee of Old Colony YMCA or Child/Grandchild of an Old Colony YMCA Employee
  • Old Colony YMCA Member or Child/Grandchild of Old Colony YMCA member
  • Graduating high school student (in Old Colony YMCA service area) 
  • Employee of the Old Colony YMCA or Child/Grandchild of an Old Colony YMCA Staff Employee
  • Graduating Student from Brockton High School
  • Record of Strong Academic Achievement in high school
