YouthBuild Fall River

Old Colony YMCA YouthBuild Fall River is a comprehensive youth development program that allows young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who have not been successful in school or the workplace an opportunity to plot a new course for their lives.  The students alternate weeks between an academic setting and a vocational one.  They are working toward the attainment of the GED while learning vocational skills that will prepare them for future employment.  The students will complete the construction of a new single family "green-built" home that will be sold to a low income, first-time homeowner.
