FAQ

Who can visit the youth?

 Only visitors approved by the program Administration and the Client's caseworker are allowed to visit. Visits can be expanded to include a broader base as the clients progress through the level system. Visiting hours at the program are Wednesdays between 6:00pm and 7:00pm and Sundays between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.  All visits must be scheduled in advance with the clinician.

What is the phone call policy?

Clients are allowed to make one phone call per day during the hours of 4:00PM and 9:00PM. Clients are only allowed to contact parents and legal guardians.

What Can I bring to the program?

Visitors are only allowed to bring clothing, toiletries and literature that has been approved by the program administration. Clients that do not have any of the above will be provided these items by the program.

Can my child have money while he is at the program?

Yes, clients are allowed to order out from the local restaurants as they progress through the level system.

Will my child have their own room?

The clients share living space with eight other residents in what is referred to as a "cabin".

Does your program conduct strip searches?

No, the program utilizes garment searches upon intake and whenever a client leaves the program and is not supervised by program staff.

Do clients have access to home passes?

Yes, clients have the opportunity to participate in "Home Passes" as they near graduation. Home passes must be approved by the client's caseworker.

Are the client's allowed to leave the property?

Yes, the clients are encouraged to participate in activities within the community contingent upon their advancement within the level system.
