342 Participants served by our Mental Health ClinicOld Colony YMCA's (OCY) Comprehensive Counseling - a fully-licensed Mental Health Clinic - was developed in 1994 specifically as a resource for children and families within the network of OCY services. Our mission is to augment other YMCA programs to promote positive mental health and well-being. Currently, we provide the range of Behavioral Health services to the public including individual therapy, group therapy, diagnostic evaluations, substance abuse evaluations, referral services, and psychopharmacological services. Treatment is available onsite in our clinic and through tele-health. We also seek to promote psychoeducation in our community and still provide clinical support to all Old Colony YMCA programs. Make a ReferralComprehensive Counseling staff is comprised of an exceptional team of behavioral health providers. Our clinical team includes licensed drug & alcohol counselors, licensed mental health counselors, social workers, a case manager and a psychiatrist, who are experienced in working with individuals who are impacted by mental health and/or substance use issues. Our team actively works to fight the stigma of mental illness and addiction, and strives to reduce the detrimental effects that substance use disorders and mental illness has on individuals, families, and our community. Our team provides supportive counseling services to individuals and their families to enhance motivation and sustain adaptive changes in their lives. While our services are those of a traditional behavioral health clinic we would assert that our approach is most unique. We are driven to develop means and strategies to effectively engage and connect to populations that may be at risk and that may not be willing to engage in treatment. We strive to provide the most holistic and comprehensive care to our clients, while working collaboratively with other OCY programs and community partners. We, therefore ensure:Friendly, simple, and timely referral process.
