The Old Colony YMCA is the largest provider of before and after school programs in Massachusetts. We offer a wide variety of programs that provide safe, fun and nurturing environments with exciting, hands-on activities. We offer child care options to suit the needs of families.

Our programs feature an emphasis on health, development and enjoyment. While programs for small children are focused on strong caring, development, and safety; programs for older children add home work assistance, character development, health and wellness programming and social development.
Childwatch
FREE to members, non-members $5.00 for the first child and $2.00 each additional child per hour (2 hour maximum). Parents must remain on premises.
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon
Monday - Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
(If no children are utilizing Childwatch, it will be closed a half hour prior to the scheduled closing time.)

- All child care employees are first aid certified, and at least one staff on site is CPR certified.

Our TODDLER CARE PROGRAM (ages 15 months - 2.9) provides safe, quality care for your children while simultaneously allowing them to enjoy structured learning, play time, snacks and outdoor play. The staff-to-child ratio is 1:4.
Our PRESCHOOL CARE PROGRAM (ages 2.9 - 6) provides your child with challenging and enriching learning experiences. Certified teachers will lead your child through a variety of activities such as music, arts & crafts, educational basics, gym activities, and outdoor recreation. Each child has the opportunity to grow at his/her own pace while having fun and making new friends. The staff-to-child ratio is 1:10.

Sunrise Club - Grades K - 5
Rise and shine with the YMCA staff right in the comfort of your own school! The staff offers structured games and craft activities in a fun and safe environment that allows participates to move at their own early-morning pace. The Sunrise Club will be offered at each of the elementary schools in Easton and at the Butler Elementary School in Avon. School Vacation Club - ages 5 - 14
Want to have fun during school vacation? Come join the fun at the YMCA! Take part in field trips, swim time, gym games, arts & crafts, and other activities prepared by our creative and caring staff. Children must bring their own lunches, but a healthy afternoon snack is provided. You may select the days for which you need care, but there is a two day minimum per vacation week.
December Vacation: Dec. 24 - Jan. 2
February Vacation: Feb. 16 - 20

Half Day 911
Another half day on the calendar? Let the YMCA ease your mind and tight schedule. When Easton and/or Avon Public Schools schedule an early dismissal, the YMCA opens its after-school doors early. At dismissal, the children stay in the comfort of their school, for a long afternoon of friends and fun! Space is limited, so contact the YMCA to reserve your child's spot.
Dismissal - 6:00 p.m.

After the Bell - Grades K - 5
After the school bell rings, children in Easton and Avon stay in the comfort of their school. Participants are offered a variety of activities designed to help kids enhance their skills, discover new talents, and have fun! Homework help and a healthy snack are also provided.
Monday - Friday School Dismissal - 6 p.m.
Snow Day 911 - Located at the YMCA Gym, 10 Barrows Street
When the temperature drops and the snowdrifts rise, the YMCA comes to the rescue as your snow-day solution! Whenever the Easton Public Schools close, the Old Colony YMCA offers a full day of fun-filled fun games and activities for kids in kindergarten through 6th grade. If schools are closed, simply call the YMCA at (508) 238-9758 and reserve your child's spot. Space is limited.
