Meet the Staff

Josh, Music Coordinator

Music has been my life since I was just eight years old. My first instrument was the trumpet and since then I have also played trombone, piano, guitar, bass, and of course - I sing. Over the last eight years I have performed everything from contemporary rock styles to jazz and opera in several states. I have over eight years of experience in music performance and theory, as well as two years of studying music pedagogy. I have over 200 hours of teaching experience in public schools shadowing Brendan Coon, a music teacher at Plymouth South High School.

She is a rising senior at Bridgewater State University as a psychology major and music minor and continues to play French Horn in the Bridgewater State University Wind Ensemble. After college Sarah plans to go to graduate school to become a social worker.

Emily, Camp Counselor

Hi, my name is Emily and this is my 2nd year as a Tadpoles Camp Counselor and a Bus Monitor.  I am so excited about camp this summer, but before we meet I’d like to tell you a little about myself.

I am currently enrolled as a sophomore at Bridgewater State University where I am studying Communication Disorders and Sciences. I love my school and classes, especially Geography and Science.

When I’m not doing school work, I love doing arts and crafts, fishing, and swimming. I also love playing sports such as Soccer and Basketball. At camp, my favorite activity is the Wibit.

After camp every day, I go home to my two pets: a cat named Pumpkin and a beta fish named Tito. I love all animals, but tadpoles are my favorite. I can’t wait to meet you at camp this summer; we are going to have so much fun and learn lots of cool things.

I love to spend my summers at the beach, camping with my family and friends, and of course here at Camp Clark! I am a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in Special Education. I live in Bridgewater with my husband and our cat, Loki! Above all else, I place strong values in family and community. I look forward to working with a great team of staff this summer and can’t wait to get to know you!

Kristen, Camp Counselor

Hi! My name is Kristen and I am 20 years old from Marshfield. I just finished my Sophomore year at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, studying Biology. I recently have decided to change my education path, and this fall I will be attending Bridgewater State University studying Management with a concentration in Marketing. I am returning this summer for my 14th year at Camp Clark. I was a camper for nine years, and I am really excited to return as a counselor for my fifth summer! I look forward to camp every year, and some of my favorite activities include ropes, archery, and boating. I have played soccer and softball since I could walk, I love going to the Plymouth Waterfront with friends, I have two cats, and my favorite colors are blue and mint green. I am looking forward to having a memorable summer, and I can’t wait to meet all the new campers!

Austin, Camp Counselor

Hello Everyone! My name is Austin, I am 16 years old, and I attend Rising Tide Charter Public School in Plymouth. Without a doubt one of my favorite subjects in school has to be history, specifically American History, and I also love creative writing. If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am very fun, energetic, and creative. One of my favorite activities is the ropes course. As a previous camper, one of my biggest difficulties was the ropes course – and thanks to a great counselor, I overcame my fear of heights. One of my main goals this summer is to get every camper that I have in my group to step a little outside their comfort zone, and to experience something new. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Karen, Camp Counselor

My name is Karen. Next year, I will be a senior at Plymouth North High School. I enjoy playing soccer, dancing, and listening to music. I love to learn, which is why I am a leader on our school math team. My friends and family mean the world to me, and I try to live each day with kindness and a positive attitude.

Hayley, Camp Counselor

Hi, my name is Hayley. I went to Camp Clark from 2002 to 2007. This is my first year as a counselor, and I am so excited to be back! My favorite camp activities are swim time, boating, and arts and crafts.  In the winter I attend Montserrat College of Art as a sophomore. I study illustration, and I hope to be a children's book illustrator.
